of Svenska Spårvägssällskapet
Free rides and admission
Membership entitles you to free rides on the museum tramways in Malmköping, Malmö, Norrköping, Gothenburg (Spårvägssällskapet Ringlinien), and Stockholm (Djurgårdslinjen). In addition, you get free rides and admission at our affiliated associations in Denmark, Finland, and Norway.
You’ll receive two information-packed magazines, MfSS Svenska Spårvägssällskapet (the Swedish Tramway Society) and Modern Stadstrafik, six times a year with news, in-depth articles and retrospectives of tram service, about urban transport developments in Sweden and abroad.
Lectures and trips
You’ll be able to attend lectures, film nights, study visits, and excursions to places you normally would not have access to. And invitations to exciting trips all over the world, that you can participate in as a member.
You’ll have access to the special members-only pages on our interesting Web site.
Finally, you can take an active part in our own transport operations and renovation work! Welcome!
Svenska Spårvägssällskapet cooperates with like-minded associations in the Nordic countries. Your membership therefore gives you the following benefits at other tramway museums (note that you must be able to show a valid membership card from Svenska Spårvägssällskapet):
