Sporvejsmuseet - Sporvejshistorisk Selskab
"Våra danska vänner i SHS har gjort om sin hemsida. Designen är nu smakfull och det är lätt att hitta bland all den fakta som finns. Det enda man saknar är en museikatalog med bilder av alla de vagnar som finns på Skjoldenaesholm. Men det kommer säkert! En snygg och enkel sida där man t o m kan handla böcker och annat om spårvagnar!"

Our Danish friends in SHS (the Danish Tramway Historical Society) have redesigned their Web site. The new design is tasteful and well-organized, and it's easy to find what you're looking for in the wealth of facts presented. The only thing we'd like to see them add is a museum catalog with pictures of all the trams at Skjoldenaesholm, and that's something they'll surely add in the future. An attractive and cleanly designed Web site where you can even shop for books and other tram-related items!

"Golden Tram utdelas till LTFs hemsida för en snygg och lätthittad design. Man tvekar aldrig var man hittar det man söker och sidan är snyggt gjord. Det finns gott om information om bevarade spårvagnar och om spårvägen i Oslo liksom om de museer LTF ansvarar för. En snygg och lätt hittad sida!"

Lidingöbanan av Stefan Nicolaisen:
"Den är inte snusbrun denna hemsida, utan den är venetianskt röd. Samma färg som vagnarna fick då de levererades till Lidingöbanorna på 1940-talet. Här kan man läsa berättelsen bakom den nuvarande Lidingöbanans tillkomst och dess historia. Avdelningen hållplatser innehåller en utförlig förteckning över banans alla hållplatser, även de som inte längre finns kvar. Beskrivningarna för respektive hållplats är saklig och är väl illustrerad med bilder. Designen på sajten är enkel och funktionell, och är inte överöst med en massa onödig lullull. Vilket gör den snabbladdad och lätt att navigera i. Ett extra plus, är att sajten går i venetianskt röd, vilket måste vara unikt för en hemsida!"

Lidingöbanan by Stefan Nicolaisen:
This home page is not snuff brown - it's Venetian red, the same color that the trams were painted when they were delivered to the Lidingö lines back in the 1940s. On this site, you can read the history of the current Lidingö line. The "Stops" section contains a complete listing of all the stops on the line, including those that no longer exist. A fact-filled, richly illustrated description is given for each stop. The site has been given a simple and functional design; excessive decoration has been avoided, making the site quick to load and easy to navigate. The Venetian red color - surely unique among Web pages - is an extra plus!

De olika modellerna är rikt illustrerade med fina bilder, och presenteras med teknisk fakta och historik. För vissa modeller finns fullständiga förteckningar för varje fordons fortsatta öden. "Tyska tidningen Blickpunkt Strassenbahn tilldelas utmärkelsen "The Golden Tram" för sin omfattande och snabba rapportering om allt som rör kollektivtrafik och då i synnerhet den spårburna sorten i Europa och övriga världen. Ett faktum är att det som inte står i Blickpunkt Strassenbahn är inte värt att veta. Att tidningens hemsida dessutom valt Svenska Spårvägssällskapet till månadens länk i mars 1999 gör inte det hela sämre. Blickpunkts serie Strassenbahnatlas över olika Europeiska områden är dessutom en utomordentlig källa till kunskap för den kringresande spårvägsdiggaren."

"The German magazine Blickpunkt Strassenbahn has received the Golden Tram award for its extensive and quick reporting of urban transport news, especially rail transport news, in Europe and around the world. The fact is that anything you can't find in Blickpunkt Strassenbahn isn't worth knowing. Of course, it doesn't hurt that the magazine's Web site has chosen Svenska Spårvägssällskapet as its link of the month for March 1999. Blickpunkt's series Strassenbahnatlas, covering different areas of Europe, is also an excellent source of information for the traveling tram fan."
